Clash of the Canon[edit]
Was it mentioned anywhere in the fluff that Valdor was still alive during this time? Far as I recall, the fluff doesn't actually state if he's still alive or if he's dead.
In addition, the fluff has always stated that the head of the Custodes is only SOMETIMES a High Lord. Was it stated anywhere that in this particular period, a Custodes was included amongst the High Lords (and thus assassinated)? If he wasn't, there isn't any clash of canon that I can see. The beast arises confirmed there wasn't a Custodes as a member he was replaced by another.
