I'm a little confused on how the Spartans fit into 40k. I was thinking that since the proportions are far more in line with a human instead of a Space Marine and the armor itself being cheaper than the Ministorum might be able to pressure the Mechanicus into making it more widely available, replacing Adeptus Sororitas, Ignatus Pattern Armour and perhaps becoming available to Stormtroopers. The Spartans themselves would probably translate into Stormtroopers if transported into 40k; the fluff mentions that Stormtroopers get minor modification, not enough to be consider Astartes but enough to make them faster, stronger, and improve pain tolerance. The Djanoris pattern Lascannon (Sparten Laser) should also be mentioned since it sounds like a Lascannon that's can be carried by an ordinary soldier that also has 5 shots per magazine (5 times more than the other Lascannons) would draw the Ministorums interest. ilniaj

  • Remember ilniaj. The Djangoris System is placed very, very far away and remote place from the Ultima Segmentum, and add in the relatively slowness of Imperial ships with the vastness of space...to put it simply, the Djangoris system is literally the UNSC in WH40K and acts like a semi-independent state, and it has been referenced that its tithes with the IoM is in its Technology and STC importance. Coupled with how large and varied the IoM is, it kind of makes sense that only the Imperium region of the Djangoris System can have access to such technology. However all of this is writefaggotry, so take it with a pinch of salt.Derpysaurus
    • Can I have permission to expand on the description of the Djangoris system? I'd like to expand on notable STCs that the Djangoris system has provided (the Spartan Laser and Railguns), explain the part of the UNSC (that was left out of the description), and expand on the A.I (the fluff has always been ambiguous on whether machine spirits exist or that they are really A.I so I would use that ambiguity to justify debates within the Mechanicus on whether the Djangoris A.I are abominable intelligence or another type of machine spirit). I'd also change it so that the Djangoris system has developed so differently because they were cut off due to a warp storm that's only recently cleared. ilnaij
