Theros Humans[edit]
What's "not remotely true" about the statement ? Are the humans in Arabian Nights not Arabian? Are the people in Kamigawa not Japanese? Or are you trying to tell me cards like Phalanx Leader and Arena Athlete depict Greeks? --Agiletek (talk) 00:45, 4 March 2020 (UTC)
- I probably should have said it's not 100% accurate. Yes, there are a larger than normal amount of black people on Theros cards compared to most planes but the vast majority of humans on Theros are Greek. Anax and Cymede are very much classically Greek, as are Daxos and Hero of Iroas. Reap What is Sown shows plenty of them. In fact if you were to look at every single card released in all the Theros sets so far, most depictions of humans are Greek. Thus, your original statement that there is no Greek equivalent on Theros is inaccurate.

- It said a "substantial chunk" are not. Hardly grounds for just removing it. Random non-Greek is a very real problem in Theros art. Not getting into spells, there's 69 Human typed creatures in the initial three Theros sets and I've posted 9. That's a greater percentage than blacks in the modern United States, so there's no way that's not a "substantial chunk" --Agiletek (talk) 02:14, 4 March 2020 (UTC)
Is it really a big enough deal to put it on the page? Most of them are in fact Greek, it's just that Theros has a higher than normal non-Greek. It's hardly a problem that never really comes up, and it's ultimately a plane inspired by Greece, not literally trying to be Greece. Take it upstairs with WoTC if it's really a big deal. - Take up any problems with WotC? Do you know where you are? --Agiletek (talk) 03:19, 4 March 2020 (UTC)
- If it really means that much to you personally, then go ahead. No need to blow a gasket over something that will get paved over once Mythic drops. Fortunade (talk) 03:22, 4 March 2020 (UTC)
- I was serious. You're saying people should not to state problems something has on the wiki and to instead yell at the company. Do you realize you're on 1d4chan of all places? If you think that's the right attitude for this place, you ought to go overhaul the page for Matt Ward --Agiletek (talk) 03:29, 4 March 2020 (UTC)
