Talk:Ultramarines: The Movie
The movie is whole lot of "meh". Let's face it, the movie from the story and pacing point of view is quite good. I can see something like this happening in WH40k. But the low visual quality and very low appeal to the people who were supposed to be interested in the movie (the fans) simply generate the most hate. Basically after the movie ended my wife asked me what I thought about it and the only image that popped in my mind was the Neutrals from Futurama going "I have no strong feelings one way or the other". Which in itself is a crime against fans. The movie had pottential if Games Workshop gave more of a crap about it the movie could have been great. As it is... it's forgettable, which again is a crime. The FIRST EVER movie we get, and we basically could have not. Seriously we could spend the money we used to buy the movie to buy some minis and we would probably be more satisfied. Here's hoping that The Lord Inquisitor will be a lot better.

When the Chaos forces were attacking the Ultramarines. I don't think it's plot armour. The Ultramarines assumed a tactically superior position while the Chaos just charged at them with no ranged support. The Ultramarines had a badass Chaplin with them as well as a flamer thus with their position and weapons. They would've been able to hold off against a horde of Chaos Marines. User: Zombiecreeper
- I highly disagree, this isn't Dawn of War 2 where activating a stance stops you from dying, they have effectively the same armour and the same weapons, so if they can gun down dozens of Chaos Marines the opposite should also be true. Also all you need to do to sign your signature is four tilde key strokes. -- Triacom (talk) 02:19, 27 June 2015 (UTC)
Junor[edit]
Junor needs more of a mention. He sacrificed himself in a badass way. Blowing him and several chaos marines up with his damaged flamer. Tyranid Memestealer (talk) 22:44, 20 November 2016 (UTC)
