So, what do you guys think? This is my first time creating a page. It's still a WIP, though. --Orion Nexus 23:27, 19 May 2012 (BST)

Very good start. -- SFH 00:56, 20 May 2012 (BST)
:Thanks, man. Feel free to add to it if I miss anything. --Orion Nexus 02:25, 20 May 2012 (BST)

"the Codex Astartes ultimate purpose is not to make the ultimate Space Marine, but a loyal Space Marine" Crap like this is about 80% of the reason so much of /tg/ hates the Ultramarines. "Our way is the best way. Being in any way unique, individual of different is inferior and disloyal." Say that to a Space Wolf or Black Templar and see what happens. -- SkyDog 08:15 22/05/2012

Hm...I wonder if anyone will write a page for Cato Sicarius. The guy must certainly have raised the hackles of a few elegan/tg/entlemen.

That's only there because Graham McNeil is the biggest anti-ultramarine ultramarine fanboy, everyone else at GW thinks the Codex Astartes is a useful source of tactical and moral code, and the problem is following it mindlessly, even the Black fucking Templars follow it (minus the 1000 man limit) in their own way. Uriel is basically a "tee hee only cool Ultrmarines act like Space Wolves", that's why /tg/ currently hates McNeil, Titus is Uriel done right.--D715 (talk) 22:24, 11 September 2013 (UTC)

  • Actually, having read his books, he seems more "anti-blindly following the codex without using your brain". It just so happens that Severus and Cato are brainless. Well, Severus at least. Cato was just mourning the loss of his lover Idaeus (which is totally cool). Still, bitch move on his part at the trial, the smug snake.--OmnipotentBystander (talk) 05:07, 14 April 2015 (UTC)

Since when did /tg/ hate McNeil? I've only seen them express mild indifference about him at worst. Granted, he's not exactly beloved but it's not nearly as bad as you say it is.--Newerfag (talk) 01:04, 12 September 2013 (UTC)

Since Aaron Dembski-Bowden show us how to write Ultramarines without throwing out what makes them Ultramarines.

  • ADB wrote about Ultramarines? When?--Newerfag (talk) 04:45, 17 September 2013 (UTC)
    • Betrayer and his Night Lords books both have them, and both times they're awesome while still following the codex.
      • Since when is it a thing that the Ultramarines are the chapter that ALWAYS follows the codex to the letter? I thought that was what the Hammers of Dorn were for.--OmnipotentBystander (talk) 05:07, 14 April 2015 (UTC)
