Talk:Walmart Apocalypse
- An anonymous editor has put "----" lines in to break up the stories, but AFAIK the wiki looks down on their overuse. Shall I remove them? --Dr. Thompson 23:50, 17 October 2012 (BST)
- I kinda like what's been done with the place. --FlintTD 00:18, 18 October 2012 (BST)
- Frankly I think it's time this monstrosity is split up into multiple articles. There's a lot here but it's all over the place. For example, two different descriptions of the the Electronics department, containing different but consistent information, but half the article lies between them because...? If I get more time for wiki'ing I might do this soon myself. I'm thinking of a Walpocalypse template, splitting departments into their own articles and using the template for navigation, and reducing this page to a general setting overview and central hub for the homebrew. If nobody has a problem with that, I should be good to begin in a week or so. --Hiddenkrypt (talk) 14:28, 12 December 2014 (UTC)
Have to say, the Paths of Cereai were disappointing. This setting lends itself better to comically misguided than unbelievably effective ideas, and with gliding electrosword Bluebirds (what cereal even is that?) And Super Special Awesome Captain leader bozos, we walk into the realm of insane creator's pet type classes. Would it not be more likely, not to mension more funny, if the Path of the Bluebird had wildly fluctuating numbers as flocks of youngsters came to worship and imitate the lonely flying mascot, built cardboard wings and sky-high aspirations, and then became extinct the first time they leapt off an aisle onto a Stocker? Why don't the cultists of the Captain constantly war among themselves because they refuse to follow anybody else, and thus never earn respect? I am still thinking in terms of a RPG setting, and these options would set up some hilarious NPCs or even some insane and funny PCs. --Oogalook (talk) 14:22, 5 August 2015 (UTC)
- I have created a new page: Tales from the Wal contains all writefaggotry from this page, not including the character thumbnails after the bulk of the fluff. I did not delete that data from this page, not being certain how irreversable or serious that action would be. Please advise. --Oogalook (talk) 04:49, 9 August 2015 (UTC)
