Is it just me or is there a MASSIVE disjoint between the opening bit and what actually happens? Cause for an era that's apparently meant to be about the Imperium losing ground it literally is about two of their massive crusades which gained more ground than any other since the Great Crusade. I mean is a single defeat even listed under the Waning? What bizarre naming.

Check older editions, what happened is that the Imperium eventually overreached, with so many military operation putting their economy under stress, also this left many sectors open for invasion, eventually going into an overall collapse, it's something akin to what happened to the Roman Empire, too much territory to cover, too many enemies, economic collapse. --McNash (talk) 05:09, 15 August 2019 (UTC)
