- Added some more stuff. Merry Xmas, you people :) Tarbosaur 07:11, 25 December 2011 (UTC)
Hey, Jemas42 here, I wrote the tactics on Dark Elves and Ogre Kingdoms (and I'm going to do High Elves in a bit) and I don't think the tactics advice represents what people have to know on Beastmen, so I'm going to rewrite it. I'll save the original, so if you want me to change it back, I will. Jemas42 18:40, 12 February 2012 (EST)
The entry for Banner of Outrage implies that the unit gets a re-roll. The copy I have says that the Primal Fury test is automatically passed for the unit. Thought I'd bring it up here before editing the main article.
Gonna clean up the argument in the section for Taurox a little.
Stuff[edit]
Has there been any word from GW about a Beastmen update? It honestly seems as if THIS army is due for an update moreso then most others...
Page Overhaul[edit]
With the influx of Chaos-related interest due to the Glottkin book I expect this page may see some reference for list-building. Unfortunately it's kind of shitty. Crap like "Blah blah blah I like to complain about everything blah blah" doesn't really belong in an article. So over the next week or two as time permits I'm going to clear up the tone of the article and add my own thoughts. Edit complete. I'm happy to discuss any disagreements with the overhaul, which was largely for tone and outdated content.
Awesome rewrite Redmaw; I've added a few tidbits and fixed syntax and spelling errors. Thank you for making this a positive tactics manual, not a rant page.--Vagrant Pickle (talk) 06:09, 1 December 2014 (UTC)
Hey, no problem. As beastmen players it behooves us to be civilized, nyuk nyuk nyuk.
I'm (mostly) done editing now - I've added on to Redmaw's awesome re-write, and I hope that the Beasts page is now a positive outlook on a tough but fun army to play. People who play beasts are going to play them regardless of whether they are OP or UP, so whatever happened in the past on this page needed to be wiped clean.--Vagrant Pickle (talk) 08:21, 3 December 2014 (UTC)
Now I'm sure that the person doing that long list of updates has the best of intentions, but a lot of what they've written just doesn't work because it's giving combinations in the Unit Analysis section, or putting in redundant information (saying the Lore of the Wild doesn't suck and is situational when the Lore of the Wild itself says exactly that) that needs to be trimmed down. Take that "Important Note" bit, if you don't like what's there or think it's inaccurate then you should change it to be accurate, not add a note at the top. Additionally pages should have as little opinion on them as possible (as in no "in my opinion" bits). - Triacom (talk)
