Talk:Warhammer 40,000/7th Edition Tactics/Skitarii
No mention of the Stasis Field wargear that you can equip instead of the Conversion field or Refractor fields on all Alphas? If I understand it correctly, this is a really powerful tool for character tanking, if you're willing to go to ground.
- Stasis field is for Cult Mechanicus and not Skitarii --Naeondaemon (talk) 16:51, 11 November 2016 (UTC)
Why do we have a Cult Mech unit in the heavy support page?
We already has a tactics with them, and this just has a new copy and paste of information, plus people talking about if it should be in this tactics page.
Why arent we just combining the two articles into one Mechanicus article? Its not like we have sifferent articles for the different mechanicum lists.
- The Battle Maniple doesn't require one of every unit. You can take either a unit of Ironstriders or a unit of Dragoons. It's a very small difference and easy to miss.
Start Collecting Box formation[edit]
Because the contents of the Dominus maniple seem to be leading to some Skub, here is a picture of the formation card:
I'm changing the page to show the correct information.
Faction: Adeptus Titanicus, and various relics/rules[edit]
emailed forgeworld regarding rules the refer to Faction:Skitarii within AdMech and Skitarii Codexes. Most of the time they'll refer to Doctrinas to differentiate but there's a number of times they try and cover both factions by saying "Faction Skitarii and Faction Adeptus Mechanicus" This includes: Warlord Trait: "Disciple of the Omnissiah", the Tactical Objectives in the Skitarii codex, Ramient of the Techno-Martyr, "Master of Machines" on the Magos and the Scryerskull Precipitatus. I've inquired as whether this can/will be extended to the Secutarii who are basically Skitarii in every aspect.
- Please update if they respond; I'm curious.--Naeondaemon (talk) 16:56, 11 September 2016 (UTC)
- Terribly sorry! They responded a long time ago actually but I've been busy. Though theu pointed out that until an FAQ is released, this is not official. In the mean time:

About vanguard ridiculous Rad Carbines.[edit]
Hi!
I would like to put on topic how about the ridiculousness of the Rad special rule of the Vanguards Rad Carbines. The rule of wounding two times (ignoring toughness) per 6 rolled is just nuts. Yesterday I killed with only 5 vanguard 3 necron spectres (yeah T6 2W 3++ each). So Im wondering what monster this can´t kill with enough numbers. Any opinion?
---Honestly, these guys rape anything with a toughness value. their main downside is the fact that they cannot scratch a tank even if they tried. they are the ultimate infantry killing infantry.
