Querry, pg 110, Programmed Behaviour. It now states "Unless within range [blahcortexcontroller] at the start of the owning players turn, the following restrictions apply". As it says on the tin, I think its safe to presume that a squad within the boundaries of the cortex controllers range, that then moved out, isn't subject to the following restrictions. However if they moved back into cortex-controller range, they would then no longer be subject (as the Cortex controller is the start of any phase, rather than turn.) --Abokasee (talk) 19:36, 3 November 2015 (UTC)

  • Regarding to Programmed Behaviour, we ought to pay more attention to the Cortex Controller rule rather than Cybernetica Cortex one. The Controller one states that its influence is phase based, meanwhile, PB says pretty much "if you start your turn within range, "TL;DR" it - it's all good, man!". Thus in the first case you'd need your magos to catch up with your robots in order to use them, while in the latter you could start the turn together and then go separate ways; a rather noticeable change in a player's turn. -- Zerghalo2 (talk) 20:41, 8 November 2015 (UTC)

Draykavac[edit]

Does he really take 2D6 - AV/2 HP from vehicles, or is it (2D6-AV)/2?

He really does take 2D6 - AV/2 HP from vehicles, however he might take even more than that since 2D6 - AV/2 is the amount of penetrating hits he inflicts. -- Triacom (talk) 09:39, 17 February 2016 (UTC)

Rad Furnaces[edit]

Can one be locked in combat with friendly units? As in, "locked with" instead of "alongside" frienly units (not to mention the Magos would be part of the unit, and technically not locked with them, but simply locked in combat). -- Zerghalo2 (talk) 17:03, 20 March 2016 (UTC)

Rite of Eternity[edit]

So, the e-mail said any battlesmith who can shoot two weapons can skip his shooting phase to use both this Cybertheurgy power AND a repair roll, like Domini with Machinator arrays...or the model must be able to shoot more than 2 weapons (aka 3) in order to do the previously mentioned actions? (so, prety much only Scoria, since Magi Prime don't know Cybertheurgy and Domini can't get Gunslinger) -- 189.209.165.205 23:15, 28 October 2016 (UTC)

Death from the sky is a 40k only[edit]

Sorry i bad explain myself,DFTS explansion rules are wh40k only and Dont affect HH in any way On the FW online site they are shown in "warhammer 40000" section and is listed like "imperial armor death from the sky update",while FW red book seriers "army list" and black book series "campaign book"arent affected from theesr rules change

Anyway you can liberaly use em at your own discrection but they will probably make your game worst affecting heavly many flyers playability, becouse they are not intended for Horus heresy

vulturax 2+ model unit, ground test?[edit]

big question ,how does vultarax 2+ model unit ground test work? i mean, if a vulturax suffer a unsaved wound and it fall to ground, it fall alone? and the rest of the unit what will do?

on the rulebood units of FMC arent considered

Most recent FAQ clears this up here[1] along with removing Flare Shields and adding Automantic Shielding

Robo-magic, Rite of Destruction[edit]

In practical terms, is the target automata performing two separate rounds of shooting, or firing twice the amount of shots? I usually roll four attacks for a Darkfire Castellax immediently rather than two dice twice. I saw the article mentioned Bolterstellax and pinning, so would a Castellax with a Mauler bolter force two pinning tests instead of the usual one?
