Time to fix this shit[edit]

Given that we've just hit a new edition, I think it's time to go through this page and fix all the shit within it. I'm going to give it the same treatment I gave the Chaos Space Marines page, because this is a fucking mess. -- Triacom (talk) 02:19, 19 July 2020 (UTC)

The revamp is over, the page has been completely redone. Useless info was chucked out or consolidated into the unit entries, the contents were reshuffled, the Hive Fleets were made into separate points, the images were fixed and the expanded sections on unit entries were removed because they served no purpose. This took a long while to redo, please don't fuck it up. -- Triacom (talk) 04:20, 20 July 2020 (UTC)

Well done. I’ve got a few tactics to voice opinion on, Specificslly smite rules as written can be multicast by the same psyker every turn. As a result resonance barb is even better as it lets you throw an extra +1 smite at something.

old one eyes adjusted 9e alpha leader makes him unshootable as long as there remains a carnifex within 3” meaning not only is he untargetable by overwatch if he declares a charge while close to his pack, but also in close combat a friendly fex hanging about means they can’t even shoot him then. Likely this will be amended because it sounds too good to be true but enjoy it while it lasts.

Additionally lictors+strategic reserve and pheromone trail means you can sr any infantry, then at will deepstrike them along with the lictor. Finally a use for the guy.

Sorry to tell you, but here's a bit from the current rules in regard to Overwatch: "Any rule that states the unit cannot be targeted unless it is the closest target (e.g. Look Out, Sir) does not apply when firing Overwatch." He is targetable by units he is charging, but good catch on the Resonance Barb. -- Triacom (talk) 02:34, 2 August 2020 (UTC)
