So here's a question TG:
3K points, or however many points the warlords worth which isn't much less, points of necron warriors and immortals and tomb blades in a reclamation legion within a decurion detachment vs warlord
Who wins, gauss or Titan?
The Fucking titan wins. Have you even bothered to do the math? 3k of points nets you. two hundred.ish warriors. A titan will, between void shields and the main body, have 41 HP, that requires, statistically speaking total 240 hits (that's without factoring in its 5++ save against main body attacks!), and roughly 360 shots to score that.On turn one you may have the chance to shot... 60 or so shots. This is assuming you get 1st turn. When the titan begins shooting (let's say it has the reaver laser blasters and gatling macroblasters) you're getting 26 pieplates to the face! 6 of them being strength D and thus outright negating that RP. It can potentially wip 3-4 squads per shooting round and thus your chances of victory suddenly vanish.
