Talk:Warmachine/Tactics

Not sure if I'm yelling into the void, but hey just in case:
What basic strategy pages would be a good addition? I don't want to necessarily type up the rulebook, but a basic listing of "here's shit you should keep in mind" wouldn't go amiss. Maybe:
- The "basics": how battlegroups function, movement, a quick rundown on how units work, etc.
- Advanced Tactics: Non-obvious or cornercase things you might want to do (e.g. upkeep cycling, Pushing your own models to get that precious inch of threat range on something)
- Given that this is Wiki (and /tg/ to an extent) is 40k focused, maybe a "differences from 40k" page to cover mechanical differences that might not be obvious/seem important initially. Don't play 40k myself so someone else would need to cover this one, but hopefully it stays on point and doesn't delve into fanboy wars bullshit: lord knows the original Warmachine article had enough of that already.
- Sure, go right ahead. They all sound like good ideas. If you don't want to go to the trouble of making them, I can start them and format them a little later. Dok (talk)
I'm trying to add stuff for questions as I see it come up frequently in the Warmahordes /tg/ threads, but any additional perspectives would be appreciated. --Chozo (talk) 01:28, 26 July 2013 (UTC)
