Talk:Wraithbone

From 1d4chan

Looked around for images of the stuff, and it seems to be that there are none. While you could take almost any picture of an eldar and their clothes/vehicles/weapons are wraithbone, that seems lazy. Post 'em if you got 'em. Josman (talk) 03:27, 24 January 2016 (UTC)

I would assume none exist because it's a building material with no component unit; there's no wraithbone equivalent of a wood 2x4 or a steel beam. It doesn't have a raw form either, as eldar just will it into existence. Thus, the only examples of wraithbone that exist in the galaxy are the finished products, as there's no intermediate phase in manufacturing.--The Forgefather
Oh, I know that there's no 2x4 equivalent, but it's wrong to say that there is no raw form. In one of the books and in the Dawn of War games the process of building with wraithbone involves creating a "raw" mass of the stuff and shaping it into whatever for you want. I called it raw because the base form of the stuff is a smooth crystaline structure, but it can be refined into anything from a cloth to a putty. Josman (talk) 18:58, 24 January 2016 (UTC)
I think what Forgefather is saying is that they don't just leave their raw Wraithbone lying around, whenever they need to build something new they just make it immediately and with essentially nothing left over. -- Triacom (talk)
