Summary

Not all amongst the Tau Empire wish to serve at all, and in fact, an entire hell-hole of a planet is dedicated to containing these Tau. Amongst them are also the criminals (one too many Fire Warriors who held up shop clerks, didn't fap, ect.). These tau must fight for whatever scrap of food and shelter they can find. Instead of communism working out, it's just slaughter. The battle-hardened sociopaths emerge, scarred and wielding dull and primitive weapons--now the most savage and adept soldiers to be sold into armies to work for the Greater good.

For those who lack knowledge of the history of Science Fiction, these guys are based on the "Sardaukar" from the Dune universe. There are also similarities to the Rogue Trader incarnation of the Space Marines; that's because the Space Marines used to be based on the Sardaukar, as well.
