The Wandering Smith, the avatar of the Iron God.

"You feel the iron, and you listen to the iron."

– A devotee trying to sum up the faith of The Iron God

The Iron God is an old Prustan and dwarven god of iron, steel, and all related to them.

History[edit]

Over 1,000 years ago, the Iron God manifested on the Prime Material to fight the avatar of Maleskari, with the battle left the Iron Gods avatar gravely wounded. Fortunaly for the god, a man whose name has been long forgotten came across the wounded avatar and offered to help him. the Iron God's avatar then fused with the man, and thus was born The Wandering Smith.

Appearance[edit]

The worshippers of the Iron God try to not anthropomorphize him, so they do not make any pictures of him. To them, the Iron God is the iron itself, rather than the blacksmith working, or the forge, rather than the one using the forge.

Worshippers[edit]

Dwarves form the majority of the Iron God's worshippers, particularily Grailwarden dwarves, with some human worshippers. His priests wear heavy armor and masks of iron, and are often very quiet. The church has no holy books and little dogma, as most of the faith is about intuition and gut feeling.
