Battlefleet Aprior[edit]
The Impirium is failing. The constant assault from without has masked an even greater problem, the rot within. The administrum is bogged down in an unending deluge of paperwork, whole worlds slipping through the cracks. The Ecclesiarchy grows ever more fanatical, ruthlessly suppresing any dissent or free thought throughout the Imperium. The Mars based Adeptes Mechanicius, responsible for the preservation and advancement of humanity's technology forgets more with each passing year and what it remembers it is not inclined to share. The Space Marines are as always the champions of humanity, but even they barely remeber what it means to be human and fight more to defeat their enemies than to protect those who rely on them.
There is hope for the Impirium however. The Aprior Sector, under the enlightened leadership of the Knights Inductor, are a shining example of the possibilties inherent in humankind. Prosperous, free and with ever advancing technoligy they may yet be the saviors of the Imperium, if their many enemies do not destroy them first. Beset on all sides by enemies, the Apriori will need to find allies in places no human has ever looked.
In the grim darkness of the future there is only war...
Battlefleet Aprior[edit]
The navy of the Aprior Sector. Intelligently led, expertly trained and well equiped this is a far more formidable force than the Damnos Crusade expects.
Fleet Strength:
In active duty:
9 Resolute class battleships
1 Apriori class battleship (Newly commissioned)
3 Phoenix class carriers
Along with numerous cruisers, battlecruisers and escorts.
In reserve:
6 Exorcist class Grand Cruisers (in reserve)
Under Construction:
2 Apriori class battleships
1 Phoenix class carrier
Ship Classes:
Phoenix class Carrier ............................................... 350 points
Type/Hits | Speed | Turns | Shields | Armour|Turrets
Grand Cruser/10 | 15 | 45 | 3 | 5+ | 0
Armament | Range/Speed | Firepower/Str | Fire Arc |
Port Launch bay | Furies 30cm/Starhawks 20cm | 8 squadrons | - |
Starboard Launch bay | Furies 30cm/Starhawks 20cm | 8 squadrons | - |
Fluff:
Based on the successful Nemisis Class Fleet Carrier the Phoenix is an absolute nightmare, for both friend and foe. For friend, its total lack of weaponry and slow speed make it an absolute pain to protect. But the Apriori gain a quite a bit boasting an incredible 16 squadrons of attack craft, in comparison to the larger Nemisis' 12, explaining why the enemies of the Apriori fear it so.
Apriori class Battleship ............................................... 450 points
Type/Hits | Speed | Turns | Shields | Armour|Turrets
Battleship/14 | 25 | 45 | 4 | 5+ | 4
Armament | Range/Speed | Firepower/Str | Fire Arc |
Port Weapons Battery | 70 | 12 | left |
Starboard Weapons Battery | 70 | 12 | right |
Dorsal lance battery| 70 | 5 | front/left/right |
Ventral weapons Battery | 70 | 6 | front/left/right |
Special Rules:
Defensive ECM: The Apriori class battleship has a defensive ECM suite of... questionable origin. Reduce the effective range of all enemy weapons when targeting this ship by 5cm impose a 10% miss chance.
Taking You With Me: The Apriori know that sometimes Sacrifice is necessary. Therefore they can deliberately overload all power cores, weapons and engines, setting off a massive explosion.
Reasonable Tactics: Aproiri do not ram.
Knights Inductor[edit]
3 Battlebarges
3 Inductor Cruisers
10 Strike Cruisers
Inductor class cruiser ............................................... 270 points
Type/Hits | Speed | Turns | Shields | Armour|Turrets
Cruiser/8 | 25 | 45 | 4 | 6+ | 2
Armament | Range/Speed | Firepower/Str | Fire Arc |
Dorsal Bombardment Cannon | 30 | 6 | left/front/right |
Port Weapons Battery | 45 | 8 | left|
Starboard Weapons Battery | 45 | 8 | right |
Prow Launch bay| thunder hawks 20cm| 2 squadrons | - |
prow torpedoes | 30cm | 6 | front |
The Knights Inductor, realizing the strategic gap between the strike cruiser and the battle barge commissioned the design and construction of the Inductor class cruiser. Any similarities between the Inductor cruiser and the inquisitorial black ship are mere coincidence.
[edit]
The exodite navy is a relatively recent
In active Duty:
6 escorts in two squadrons
1 cruiser flagship
100 ground based air/space superiority fighters
50 ground based air/space bombers
In reserve:
200 fighters
150 bombers
Under construction:

Fleet Strength:
1 Despoiler class Battleship

Numerous cruisers and escorts.
Dark Eldar[edit]
Ship Classes:
Dark Eldar Agony class Battleship ............................................... 300 points
Type/Hits | Speed | Turns | Shields Armour|Turrets
Battleship/10 | 30 | 90 | Shadowfield | 5+ | 0
Armament | Range/Speed | Firepower/Str | Fire Arc |
Keel weapons battery | 45cm | 12 | left/front/right |
May take up to three of the options below at the price listed
Prow Phantom Lances | 45cm | 2 | left/front | +20 points
Prow Phantom Lances | 45cm | 2 | front/right | +20 points
Frontal Phantom Lances | 45cm | 3 | front | (may only take one) +20 points
Launch Bays | The usual | 4 | - | (may only take up to two) +40 points
Torpedo Tubes | 30cm | 6 | front | (may only take up to two) +20 points
2 Impalers | 30cm | special | front | +20 points
Special Rules:
Speedy Behemoth: Does not automatically CTNH but can use CTNH and it's firepower is only reduced by 25% instead of being halved.
Its speed is made slightly slower than the Dark Eldar cruiser class ship, as is normal for battleships. The weapons batteries are bumped up from the Void Stalker's 8 to 12 in order to match the Torture's weapons batteries.
The Lances are given the same strength, because even though pulsar lances are more powerful, the weapons batteries have already been increased, so it about balances out. But the main advantage over the Void Stalker is the increased armor value, which is bumped up to match the Torture class's value.
I think it fits in well with the Dark Eldar list. It's slightly less deadly than the Void Stalker, but at the same time is more resilient. I've tried to make it worth taking in higher point games to counter enemy battleships as opposed to lots of torture class vessels.
