Appearance[edit]
Original character, do not steal
She's 6 feet tall, with long wavy dark auburn hair, deathly white skin, and cold green eyes. She wears dresses in red and black with black leather over-the-knee boots. Completely impractical soulsteel armor covers the upper half of her chest and lower arms. She wears a simple black choker around her neck, set with an opalescent stone.
Backgrounds[edit]
As a Zenith in prehistory and the early First Age[edit]
In an age now lost to history, the Soaring Osprey of Alabaster and Copper was exalted as one of the first Zenith-caste Solars on Okeanos.
There she worked to forge an effective fighting force out of the humans, Dragon Kings, and Terrestrial Exalts, even while expanding her own capabilities to prepare for the coming War.
Osprey had copper-red hair and pinkish skin; she tended to ignore fashion and wear simple functional clothing, relying on her sheer force of personality to win the hearts and minds of others.
Osprey's Lunar mate was a Full Moon whose spirit shape was a peregrine falcon; his name was Star Screams from the Heavens.
After the creation of Saigoth, she occasionally spent time slumming in the Outback, trying to go a certain number of months without using any essence as a test of endurance and to remember what it was to be mortal; she failed the test once, stopping another Solar in limit break from disrupting the natural evolution occuring in the Outback.
Star died in RY 2581, giving his life to stop a Wyld behemoth that took advantage of the weakened Order Conferring Trade Pattern to invade; his shard returned as a peacock-totem Waxing Moon named Emerald Feather Graces the Forest. His Tell was iridescent blue-green irises with dark blue pupils.
Osprey believed that she would live as long as was necessary to protect Creation and to fulfull her duty to the Unconquered Sun, and refused to take advantage of any of the anagathic techniques developed after the death of Facet Raven. Thus it was in RY 2620, after overseeing more than 75 years of peace in her province, that the Soaring Osprey of Alabaster and Copper was finally able to lay down her arms and die of old age.
As a Zenith in the high First Age[edit]
Born in RY 2602 as the Period of Long Silence was nearing an end, Tranquil Crane exalted at age 19, giving a speech from the city walls to both the besieging army and the defenders, trying to convince both of them that their conflict could be resolved peacefully, instead of by starting the first war in that province in decades.
Emerald reunited with Crane in RY 2628 after Creation's communication networks were fully restored.
Tranquil Crane fell in the Usurpation while in Limit Break, Emerald by her side, single-handedly trying to stop a Terrestrial brotherhood and Solar circle from trying to kill each other. It wasn't clear which side was responsible for her death.
As a mortal in the Second Age[edit]
Born in Azure into the Nefela family, father Haku, mother Lalani, the third child after eldest sister Kahiku and sister Mahina, Nefela Koli knew from an early age that he was different. After much confusion, he learned the hard way to try to pass as just another normal boy. He tried living a second life in secluded bars and associating only with people he thought he could trust.
One day he made a mistake and trusted the wrong people. He ended up being kidnapped, carried off to a small island, tied to a piling below an abandoned pier and slowly tortured by Admiral Tirak thanks to yet another outburst of Tirak's homophobia and misogyny. That was the first day.
Early in the morning of the seventh day, Koli died of dehydration, and the Bodhisattva Anointed by Dark Water appeared with a question on his lips...
As an Abyssal[edit]
Void awoke with the nauseating light of the sun in her eyes, still tied to the piling, her face crusted with dried blood. A masked and bandaged man calling himself Poison Wanders through the Veins saw Void was awake, untied her and carried her back to Skullstone for training. Meanwhile he explained that Void wasn't dreaming and wasn't quite dead either, as well as a few other useful bits of information.
Void approached the extreme training regimen with the new confidence of her exaltation and the clear mind of a new "life" free of her earlier troubles. Void soon displayed a talent -- some might say obsession -- with swords, knives, and necromancy; the Bodhisattva gave her special, personal training in these areas. Void's training wasn't all perfect, however: regulations required that she learn the basics of bureaucracy, economics, bookkeeping, and accountancy. Void did the best she could to avoid it, but finally the Bodhisattva locked her in a room with a Daybreak named Screaming Obsidian Didact and wouldn't let her out until Didact had certified while not under the effects of mental influence that she knew the basics. It wasn't fun.
After the trouble he had with Fallen Wolf of the Cutting Sea, the Bodhisattva did not look forward to another rebellious Midnight caste; however, since he was stuck with a Midnight shard, he decided to make the most of the situation. To the best of Void's knowledge, her fervor for ending suffering (and life with it) has convinced the Bodhisattva that she won't cause problems... at least with this operation.
During her time on Darkmist Isle, Void has developed an extreme dislike for the Darkmist staple of spidermeat as well as spider-related things in general; she annoys the Bodhisattva's accountants by consistently ordering imported food and charging it to the Deathlord's tab.
All will be equal in Oblivion.
Hate will end.
Suffering will be extinguished.
The chains of eternal rebirth will be broken.

Roll extended opposed (Ess+Will) between sorcerer and demon; demon takes -1 die per extra 5m sorcerer spends. Continue until one side gets 3 more successes than the other. If the sorcerer wins, the demon will serve for 421 days or until one task's completion, then disappear back to Malfeas. If the demon wins, the sorcerer can try to banish it with (Wits+Occ) diff 3; if this fails, the demon is free to eat who it pleases.

Inventory[edit]

- Though ultimately an Abyssal is utterly doomed, Creation still exists and a weak-willed servant is of little use to the Neverborn. The deathknight taps into her Whispers, and the Neverborn show her a horrible vision of what work she must yet accomplish.. and what will happen to her if she fails. Though disturbing, this does provide the deathknight with a certain amount of incentive.

- If an Abyssal jumped off a bridge, so would you.
- When activating this Charm, the Abyssal decides on a purpose such as "tear down this temple to the Unconquered Sun" and begins working toward it. The Abyssal's player then rolls (Manipulation + Performance) once, applied against the MDV of anyone who can perceive the Abyssal working. If the roll exceeds a target's MDV, that target must spend 2 Willpower or work toward the same purpose as the Abyssal. The targets are not required to emulate the Abyssal's actions identically.
- This Charm's effects last until the scene ends or the Abyssal stops working toward the original purpose, whichever comes first.
- The MDVs of affected Fair Folk are cut in half (round down) when applied against this Charm.

- This Charm can enhance a physical attack. This Charm causes the attack to inflict aggravated damage against targets of the user's negative Intimacies.
- This Charm can also enhance social attacks that create fear, disgust, or loathing, or where the Abyssal uses a stunt to draw on these emotions. Targets of the Abyssal's negative intimacies treat the attack as unnatural mental influence that costs one Willpower to resist. This Charm also halves the creature's base MDVs against the attack.

- The Abyssal chooses a negative emotion such as hate, a negative Intimacy, or her Motivation (which must involve causing harm or otherwise furthering the cause of Oblivion). When making social attacks that inflame the negative emotions, contribute to the destruction of the Intimacy, or further her Motivation, targets must spend an additional two Willpower to resist.
- The Abyssal can augment only one passion at a time, and must spend 1xp to switch this Charm to a different one.
