Background[edit]

Copper Spider Of The Radiant Sun had a quiet life before his exaltation, he lived a quiet life on a small island in the west. He had a girlfriend, and they were all right until Copper decided to break up with her. She lost it and went off to kill herself, and did so. Months later she returned, as a Dusk Caste abbysal intent upon returning the favour of death to a naive, young Copper. Copper, however, managed to sweet talk his way out of being murdered by the decidedly pissed off agent of the void. And as he managed to talk his way out of painful, painful death he exalted. His abyssal ex, now seemingly cool enough to hang out with him once again decided to teach him a few charms so he wouldn't get his wimpy ass murdered and left him some claws to remember her by, then she wandered off to her deathlord once more, telling Copper that she picked up too much resonance around him to stay for more than a few days.

Copper packed up his important things and head out into the world, wandering one day around some cities near to Halta he was stopped by a tall, but attractive man and after a short conversation was taken to see another Haltan man. Who within minutes of being introduced had a stolen piece of jewellery dropped into his hands, during the mad fleeing that they did together Copper learnt his name to be Erokai... And that the man that had brought Copper to him was now gone.

Copper slowly came to realise that if someone didn't look after Erokai he'd get himself killed and begrudgingly decided to take him on as a travel companion, while Erokai was bound to Copper by his mentor.

Once more they set off together, roaming the whole of creation as they pleased, getting by on Copper's smarts and Erokai's amazing social ability.

Martial Arts[edit]

  • RAVAGING BLOW 2m; Supplemental; Combo-OK; Instant. Extra sux count double for damage on natural attacks. If Dark Messiah is running this adds 1 to the attacks minimum damage.
  • FOE-BLINDING JAB 3m; Supplemental; Combo-OK, Crippling; Instant. This Charm supplements an unarmed attack. If an attack would do 2L or more it's made 1L and inflicts a crippling effect (blindness). Repeated use of this Charm causes full blindness. Exalts heal this with a days rest, mortals don't. If the Abyssal wishes, he can inflict blindness for only a few minutes by applying pressure or throwing a handful of dirt rather than gouging. In this case, the Crippling effect takes place as long as the attack hits, but the strike inflicts no damage.
  • DEAD MAN’S GRASP 1m per action; Supplemental; Combo-OK; Duration: Until released; This Charm supplements a grapple attack. Clinch does L. The raw damage increases by 1 for each action the clinch is held, up to (MA). The Charm ends and the damage bonus resets to +0 if the Abyssal stops spending Essence and squeezing to deal damage.
  • INESCAPABLE IRON GRIP 5m; Supplemental; Combo-OK; Until released; This Charm supplements a grapple attack. As the deathknight and his foe struggle to control the grapple, the dice pool for the victim takes an internal penalty equal to the number of actions for which the Abyssal has already controlled the grapple. What’s more, as long as the Abyssal controls the grapple, his victim cannot breathe. In a long struggle, the rules for holding breath (see Exalted, p. 130) could even come into play. The (Stamina + Resistance) roll to resist asphyxiation is always difficulty 3. More immediately, the victim cannot cry out or make any other sound in the Abyssal’s grip.
  • DARK MESSIAH FORM 6m; Mins: Martial Arts 4, Essence 2; Simple (Speed 5); Form-type; One scene; Farewell ethics, it’s time for bloody, brutal payback! Unarmed attacks become Peircing. Can parry against raged and lethal without a stunt. Eliminates multiple-action penalties for the first (Martial Arts ÷ 2, rounded up) actions in a flurry. Martial Arts 5 = A three punch flurry with no penalties. Any actions after the penalty-free number, however, take the same penalties as if this Charm had not been active. As a final benefit, a Dark Messiah stylist can attune to soulsteel form weapons (if he couldn’t before) and gain all the motes stripped from a target by such weapons. The amoral ferocity of Dark Messiah Form comes at a price, though. While using the form, characters cannot channel their Virtues.

Any surface at least as strong and wide as human hair is treated as three foot wide and able to support thousands of pounds when determining what movement and athletic actions she can take/ what penalties would apply to them.

  • Emerald Countermagic - 10-20m, Sorceror or one spell: This spells Shape Sorcery action is Speed 0, and is reflexive. If she spends 10m, she is proof against the effects of a Terrestrial Circle spell until the end of her next action. If she spends 20m, then she may shatter one Emerald Circle spell within (Essence x 50) feet, automatically interrupting any Shape Sorcery actions or ending any effects.
  • Stormwind Rider - 15m, Summoned tornado: Copper summons a small tornado from the sky. It can jump obstacles 30 feet high or 50 feet across, but cannot fly. It can survive falls of up to 30 feet, and protects the sorcerer and the contents of the stormwind from damage. It dissipates if the fall is from any higher, but occupants treat all falls as 60 feet less. Copper can carry up to (Essence x 200) lbs. of equipment and passengers at 45 feet per tick, or up to 100mph. It dissipates if Copper steps on the ground. While manoeuvring the stormwind, Copper is at -2 to all actions and DVs, and a -2 external penalty to all ranged attacks against the occupants, -3 external penalty to verbal communication while within 15 feet, and -2 external penalty to Awareness checks to determine the identity of the occupants.

Limit Break: Creation is filled with stupidity, moron mortals squabbling over cattle. Exalted seeing who can punch a squabbling mortal the furthest, it's a hard life for those who are calm, and in touch with their inner self, sometimes you can do nothing but join them. For the scene <Solar> acts like the fools around him.

Fingerless gloves do not restrict manual dexterity in the slightest. Three holes for the claws. Come in pairs. Attune for 8. Can reflexively spring or retract the claws from either glove. Add 2 dice to climbing rolls. Can fire the middle claw, it remains connected by a thin, nearly unbreakable chain. Can serve as grappling hooks. Retracting a claw is reflexive and does so with great force. The claw can release it's grip, otherwise whatever it's stuck into flies towards the user, or the other way around, depending on what's better secured) Using this method to move rapidly counts as the character’s move action in a tick. I roll [Sta/ Str] + [Res/ Ath]+ Sux over their DV against their [Sta/ Str] + [Res/ Ath] +1 auto sux for every action I maintain pulling at them.
