User:Kracked Mynd/Forgotten and Scorned/BDSM Elves

From 1d4chan

This is the entirety of trying to reach an agreement with another user. They never responded and continued to accuse bias and editwarring despite waiting long periods of time and frequently trying to talk it through.

Dark Eldar Reference[edit]

Personally, I have no fucking idea what "mincy little faggot BDSM elves" is from, so it doesn't have any meaning to me. If it is a quote, I understand (the same reason I don't change "faggot" "gay" or "trap" from board/anon quotes), but otherwise, it serves no purpose in representing /tg/ culture and only presents a negative image of the wiki. Obviously, I'm not going to start an edit war or skub the fuck outta this, but it seems kinda pointless to me. --Kracked Mynd (talk) 14:41, 19 December 2018 (UTC)

I've only edited after you didn't respond for several days, and removed it only under the condition it wasn't a reference (which you said it was). Just because the word faggot is commonly used across the internet doesn't make it useful or funny - so is the n-word, with "nigga" and "nibba" being common variations, but when an anon puts those in an article out of context (ie, not on the RaHoWa article), it's /pol/ influence that needs to be purged. If it is a reference or relevant (as in /tg/ related), I leave it the fuck alone. If it's not, I remove it for cleaning and making the wiki more accessible. As far as the edit war is concerned, I have not repeatedly undid your edits, and stop and come to your page to discuss it to prevent that from happening.
In the other direction, I put my sexual orientation on my page because it's useful. I live in a very conservative US state which has it's own issues. These range from people still talking about Magic and D&D as Satanic to widespread homophobia. That influences my personality and my edits (like this one). However, if you think that it clouds my judgement or defines who I am to the point in which I cannot make unbiased edits, I am somewhat offended. I am not here because I'm some screaming SJW who wants to ruin gaming, I'm here because I enjoy the boards and I want to make a helpful contribution. When I first started reading 1d4chan and making anonymous edits, I was offput by the language and humor (the same way I am with the boards sometimes), and have started to, as I go along, try to make things more accessible and less closed off by cleaning it up.
Again, I have nothing against you, pop culture, the boards, or internet slang, but I think this is unnecessary. Beyond that, I've only edited after trying to open dialogue with you about it, and have backed off when you come to undo my edits. I have not been biased and I have most certainly tried to start an edit war, and I'd appreciate it if you'd calm down and not throw insults whenever someone changes something you've done. --Kracked Mynd (talk) 21:09, 31 December 2018 (UTC)
If you're not going to respond at all, I will undo the edit (I've waited a week so you know I'm not trying to start an edit war). It's really not that funny, and is unhelpful for the above reasons. Anyway, I've tried reaching out to you multiple times to discuss this, so you can't claim I'm not being mature and friendly about this. --Kracked Mynd (talk) 05:57, 12 January 2019 (UTC)
