Background[edit]

Otto was born to House Iselsi, and as it stands is their greatest hope for not being completely cast aside. His own family put him through rigorous training since the day he exalted, and studied as hard as he could while at the Heptagram. He didn't study because of obligation to his House, but because he loved it. So many books, so many musty tomes, so many old scrolls, so many power hungry sorcerers who couldn't bear the thought of anyone else gaining an iota of power.

So, Otto turned to his grandmother for career advice, and she taught him how to kill. Not just how to fight, but how to assassinate, how to be far from the actual deed, and how to make it look entirely accidental. Following this, Otto set himself up as a glorified courier and taxi driver with the help of his sorcery.

Being a magical taxi service wasn't all that bad of job, he got outdoors, met interesting people, and exercised his essence muscle. Then a few customers went missing, and so did Otto.
