I did wonder if anyone would notice. It pains me that my reasoning even has to be questioned, when it should be plainly obvious.

Rape is not a joke. It's not funny, it's not trivial, it's not a word that should be just thrown around as a comic device or for any other reason. I am sick of how practically ubiquitous it is on 1d4chan (and let's not even talk about elsewhere). I need a "good reason" to edit it out of a page? What's the "good reason" for it being there in the first place? Does it greatly enrich the lives of all who read it with the wit of its humour and give them enlightened understanding of the topic at hand? No. It's just pathetic. The only logic to be had is that people actually want to see rape jokes and references all over this wiki. Maybe you do.

Out of ignorance, lack of basic empathy or both, this truly awful, beyond-nightmarish thing is made light by people who don't understand it. This is something that plagues victims for the rest of their lives, if they don't resort to suicide. 'Rape culture' extends far, far beyond 1d4chan and it's existence is one of many factors that lead me to thoroughly loathe my own species.

Have an ounce of compassion for one fucking second. Do you think rape victims enjoy seeing the object of their life-rending trauma plastered all over the internet, the media, and so on? That's rape culture. I'd like to clarify that I am not a victim of rape (I am also a white male), but the subject sickens me to my very core and that is precisely the feeling that anyone with a shred of decency should feel. Not "ha ha Grey Knights are overpowered" or some insignificant bullshit, some cheap half-joke that seems to be more important than having any respect or compassion for anyone. Obviously these jokes are such a cornerstone of the wiki that they must be absolutely everywhere, and removing them is such a big deal that someone has actually come out to defend rape. That's right; you're a rape defender. Exactly the sort of person who perpetrates the environment that makes victims feel like they can't tell anyone. Exactly the sort of person who makes rapists feel validated, comfortable with themselves, as if rape is normal and there is nothing wrong with them for doing it because society is condoning their actions. Did you know that the majority of rapists believe that all men are rapists? Did you know that they disassociate their actions from the word itself, even though they would admit to it if it was phrased as "have you ever had intercourse with someone without their consent by use or threat of physical force?". You're using your "rights" as a shield, but that is nothing more than a paper-thin excuse. You, and many others, are indirectly supporting rapists while simultaneously mocking their traumatised victims. If you are comfortable with that, I suggest you go die in a fire.

I had to look up "Shit Reddit Says". It seems to exist to highlight seriously messed-up stuff that people say/do on Reddit, including child pornography. I'm sorry, do you think 1d4chan isn't above child pornography? Do you support that, too? Perhaps you feel that it is our "right" to create a "Paedophilia" section, and the only reason we haven't is because the service provider might get angry? Do you think that we should openly discriminate (especially against women), as it is our "right" to do so? If you said yes to these things, please eat a melta bomb.
