That thing about strikethroughs.[edit]

Couldn't find that singular discussion I spoke about. Nothing official so far, but have found bits and pieces from history over that we were involved in: Talk:Lion El'Jonson, User_talk:Newerfag#Strikethroughs, User_talk:Wikifag#Strikethrough_Edits

But the best one so far: User:Petro/How_To_Use_Strikethrough

The issue comes back every now and then, and there are undoubtedly more conversations hidden in talk pages somewhere. While I can't cite anything official, the overall consensus is that strikethrough are bad, and you'll see lots of strikethrough reverts from many other editors if you look back through history. Most of the long time editors tend towards the "how to" I linked above (whether they realise it or not) but many others would remove all strikethroughs out of hand. That's cool. You didn't need to look it up for me, I believed you already. Thanks for the guidance!
You have my apologies for getting a bit intense, glad we could sort things out though. --Dark Angel 2020 (talk) 18:44, 3 July 2017 (UTC)
