question from newbie
Hey, I see you've created several homebrew Sororitas orders pages in the past. Is anyone allowed to do this based on new chart results, or is there some restriction on adding new homebrews to the wiki? I have something full of heresy and/or skub in mind but I don't want to ruffle people's feathers by jumping right into it before asking. Thanks. --Aporia (talk) 07:00, 22 July 2020 (UTC)
Thanks! The only Sororitas order I think it's fair to say I made is the Order of the Blinded Martyr, the rest already existed and I just fleshed them out for /tg/ Codex Supplement - Faith Militant. But to answer your question, I think you should be good. There aren't very many hard rules on the wiki; as long as you aren't being a dick to other users or running roughshod over existing pages, no one will really mind. I wouldn't advise altering the Sisters of Battle Order Creation Tables, but feel free to create whatever new order you want, whether you use the creation tables or not. --Conqueror (talk) 18:52, 22 July 2020 (UTC)
Also, if you end up using the Sisters of Battle Order Creation Tables, don't feel like you have to strictly adhere to whatever you roll. While following the results can lead to some cool orders (e.g. the Obsidian Mirror), sometimes they won't really match what you have in mind, or they'll inspire you to create something even better. For example, when we were making the Blinded Martyr, /tg/ rolled for their heroine of legend to be a Canoness who stormed an Eldar Craftworld. But, when I sat down to write out the Order's fluff, I thought it made more sense to draw inspiration from the legend of Saint Lucy, so instead the heroine ended up being a Sister Superior who willingly blinded herself to fight a daemon of Slaanesh. It's your order, so have fun and do what you want with it! --Conqueror (talk) 19:08, 22 July 2020 (UTC)
