Shrike[edit]
I noticed you fucked around with the Shrike "on the tabletop" bit. If you want to throw in jokes and stuff that's cool, but do it in the fluff section, not the Tabletop section. The Tabletop section is supposed to contain accurate information on the character's in game performance. If you really insist on adding in jokes about dying alone, you can do that, but don't remove pertinent information to do it. For example, if you wanted to rail on draigo for being a many sue, you add a bit at the end of a sentence about it. You would NOT remove gameplay information to replace it with a joke. Don't take someone's "Kaldor Draigo is a psychic powerhouse and a beast in melee" and turn it into "Kaldor Draigo is a damn mary sue." Instead do something along the lines of "Kaldor Draigo is a psychic powerhouse an unbeatable monstrousity in melee because his lore was written by our spiritual liege, and as such is a damn mary sue." - The reason I keep changing it is because as it is it has false information stating that he in deploy with a vanguard or assult squad witch with how the special rules is written is incorrect making him a fucking joke.
- It's not incorrect, this was covered in the tactica article last year. Shrikes rule allows him to join a unit BEFORE deployment, whereas in infiltrators cannot be deployed with units without the rule DURING deployment. There's a difference, so his combined unit can be deployed together.--Dark Angel 2020 (talk) 21:14, 18 February 2016 (UTC)
- I think it is incorrect, the rule says he can only join a unit of Jump Infantry before deployment, however that doesn't mean he does join them at that time, in fact I can't see anything that says he joins a unit before deployment. -- Triacom (talk) 21:29, 18 February 2016 (UTC)
- I'm surprised Triacom, since you were one of the advocates of him being able to join and then infiltrate a squad. It's clearly what the RAI is, otherwise it really is a balls up, so we're really only stressing interpretations of RAW here.--Dark Angel 2020 (talk) 21:35, 18 February 2016 (UTC)
- Yeah, I was originally for it (and I'm still all for a character Infiltrating a squad), however I've talked to people in my group since, and that was pointed out to me when I tried to argue he could Infiltrate a unit. As it is I can't really argue against what they said since it never said he joins before deployment, which is a shame since that would have easily fixed most of his points problems. Personally what I think they should have done is give him the Master of Ambush trait by default rather than the stupid one they gave him. -- Triacom (talk) 22:21, 18 February 2016 (UTC)
- I've reopened the discussion on the tactics page, trying to cover all bases. A user:talk page probably isn't the best place for this--Dark Angel 2020 (talk) 22:36, 18 February 2016 (UTC)

Mew, just so you know you can sign your posts by hitting the tilde key (~) 4 times. Also if you disagree with the tactics posted on a page, bring it up in the discussion section of the page. Your thoughts are certainly welcome, but if you just replace info that's there with "dying alone" then people will probably just assume you're trolling and switch it back.
