Would you like to point me to where it says that you have to set up your FGLTC troops in the movement phase? Surely if what you say is true, then GW has just completely nullified that Strat, as it’s point is to get your melee units into combat without getting shot to pieces. The wording in this stratagem clearly states that you set up during deployment, not during t1 movement. I understand that that is true for other DS strats, and for other methods of DS, like the Terminators’, and Inceptors’, but to me it seems like you have misunderstood how the FAQ combines with FGLTC. I’m sure that you have a legitimate reason for thinking this, so please proceed to show me the bit where it says that you set up these DS-ing troops in the t1 movement phase, and I will gladly retract that tactic section. (Though if this is true, you will also have to say how utterly useless that stratagem now is, as I assume that t1 deployment rule is not unique to the C-A). the stratagem is quite clear on that, to quote :"At the end of any of your movement phase these units can teleport into battle", combine with the FAQ which says : "any unit which arrives on the battlefield during a player's first turn must be deployed wholly within the controlling player's deployment zone". so yeah the stratagem is pointless, as are most of the deep-striking ones --Numeon (talk) 18:07, 26 April 2018 (UTC)
