Almost didn't see your note regarding a new Legion. It's possible, but unlikely. We would need to know:

  • Which Legion do you want to replace?
  • 1. The Sand Keepers
  • What core thematic role would the new Legion play?
  • 2. The central theme would be their empire building in their own region of space. They'd create their own infrastructure and systems under control of their homeworld, but with fealty to the emperor. They'd have a strong belief in their own superiority, and a belief in some being born of noble blood, with others born to serve them. They'd be heavily united in their goals and be proponents against the Codex Astartes, breaking them up into chapters. Their space would be especially intolerant to xenos, but much less totalitarian than the greater Imperium, with their branches of the Mechanicum, being more radical, and a belief that anything atleast made by a human would be okay. To put it simply, they'd be a force that goes against a majority of the imperium, but is staunchly loyal and indomitably faithful in it as a whole.
  • What sort of person is the Primarch?
  • 3. The primarch would be a mix of Ian Smith and Julius Ceasar in terms of what happens on his homeworld. He'd have astounding faith in humanity and trust of his brothers, but be on the outside enough that people think he'd take either side in the heresy, which he would never see coming. He attempts to allow men to live with as much freedom and self determination, refusing to become a tyrant as he did on his homeworld. Despises xenos and all things inhuman, like the warp, but only when it attempts to control humankind. Also astoundingly racist, looking down on humans not of noble stock.
  • What are the distinctive strategic tendencies of the new Legion?
  • 4. Their combat style would be based upon well formationed and disciplined line-infantry, supported by unique flanking and light infantry formations, with air superiority

I've posted your proposal to the thread. As an aside, it would be very helpful if you signed your edits on talk pages, using the signature button on the edit bar (second from the right). Alternatively, you can write it out as two hyphens and four tildes. Similarly, just editing in your answers into the flow of my post above - while I can follow it - would be fairly confusing for anyone else coming to your talk page. --Lumey (talk) 18:11, 20 October 2014 (UTC)

Thanks for the help and linking me to the thread --TohidemyIP (talk) 18:18, 20 October 2014 (UTC)
