Faction Overview[edit]

instead of the loud bloodthirst of the Zealous Daughters, the Shadowstalkers are the silent killers of the shadow elves, Ulgu and Kaine.

They play a dance of running foward while dealing damage just out of your opponents reatch.

Pros[edit]

  • elf quick with menuervbility powers
  • lots of reach weapons and shooting attacks.
  • Good Crits
  • advanced, high stakes playstyle

Cons[edit]

  • Elven Fraility- Expensive and will go down quickly even to non-crit attacks.
  • Miro intensive- need to know how to get fighters into combat and get them out before they die.

Abilities Overview[edit]

  • [Double] Shadow Leap: This fighter can fly when making move actions until the end of their activation. (Everyone)
  • [Double] Cursed Darts: Pick a visable enemy fighter within 9" and roll 2 dice. For each roll of 4+, allocate 2 damage points to that fighter. In addition if either dice rolled a 6, half the Move characteristic of that fighter until the end of the battle round. (Shroudblade and Slaughtershade only)
  • [Double] Instrument of Khaine: A fighter can use this ability only if an enemy fighter has been taken down by an attack action made by them this activation. This fighter makes a bonus move action or a bonus attack action. (Slaughtershade only)
  • [Triple] Harness Darkness: Until the end of the battle round, subtract 1 from the Attacks characteristic (to a minimum of 1) of attack actions made by enemy fighters that target a fighter within 3" of this fighter. (Darkflame Warlock only)
  • [Triple] Dance of Death: Until the end of this fighter's activation, this fighter can finish disengage actions within 1" of enemy fighters. (Everyone)
  • [Quad] Ensnaring Darkness: Allocate a number of damage points equal to the value of this ability to all visible enemy fighters within 3" of this fighter. Instead, the fighter can draw their shadow blood, if they do so, allocate 3 damage points to this fighter and a number of damage points equal to the value of this ability to all visable enemy fighters within 6" of this fighter. (Shadow Queen only)

    • Stats: Movement 6"; Toughness 4; Wounds 20; 190Pts.
      • Runemarks: Leader
      • Weapons:
        • Ranged- Range 4"; Attacks 3; Strength 4; Damage 2/4
        • Sword-Range 1"; Attacks 4; Strength 4; Damage 2/5
    • Fighter Commentary - Deadly in close and range, with moving 6"s and flying over with Shadow Leap. will deal lots of damage to a cluster of nearby enemies with her Ensnaring Darkness. but her flimsyness makes it a judgment call when to have your leader divebomb with 4-6 Damage or hold her back for a better opportunity.

  • Shroudblade with Cursed Swords
    • Stats: Movement 5"; Toughness 3; Wounds 8; 90Pts.
      • Runemarks: Warrior
      • Weapons:
        • sword-Range 1"; Attacks 4; Strength 3; Damage 1/4
    • Fighter Commentary - your rank and file, but more or a elite fighter in other warbands. 4 attacks with 4s for crits makes him a damage dealer. Frail but Shadow Leap and Dance of Death lets it engage and run from fights before retaliation. also get Cursed Darts which give bonuse range damage and a chance to also slow down a fighter.
  • Shroudblade with Umbral Spear
    • Stats: Movement 5"; Toughness 3; Wounds 8; 90Pts.
      • Runemarks: Warrior
      • Weapons:
        • sword-Range 2"; Attacks 3; Strength 3; Damage 1/4
    • Fighter Commentary - trade a attack for a 2" reach. Not as many attacks but you only get so many Triples a round to go around for Dance of Death.
  • Darkflame Warlock with Repeater Crossbows
    • Stats: Movement 5"; Toughness 3; Wounds 8; 100Pts.
      • Runemarks: Warrior, Mystic
      • Weapons:
        • ranged-Range 8"; Attacks 4; Strength 3; Damage 1/3
    • Fighter Commentary - Has ranged attack but more important Harness Shadow which is a power defensive ability by -1 from the attack character of all attacks that target nearby fighters. Should be kept in the back and has the weapons for that.
  • Darkflame Warlock with Doomfire Ring
    • Stats: Movement 5"; Toughness 3; Wounds 8; 100Pts.
      • Runemarks: Warrior, Mystic
      • Weapons:
        • sword-Range 1"; Attacks 3; Strength 3; Damage 1/3
        • Arcane Bolt-Range 3-7"; Attacks 2; Strength 3; Damage 2/4
    • Fighter Commentary - trades attacks and versatile range of crossbows for more average damage.
  • Slaughtershade with Umbral Spear
    • Stats: Movement 5"; Toughness 3; Wounds 12; 120Pts.
      • Runemarks: Warrior, Derserker
      • Weapons:
        • Spear-Range 2"; Attacks 4; Strength 4; Damage 1/4
    • Fighter Commentary - more elite then Shroudblades. Pay 30pts. more to Get some extra wounds, S4 and get the Instrument of Khaine ability, so let it get the kill so it gains more action economy.
  • Slaughtershade with Shadow Whip
    • Stats: Movement 5"; Toughness 3; Wounds 12; 120Pts.
      • Runemarks: Warrior, Derserker
      • Weapons:
        • sword-Range 4"; Attacks 3; Strength 4; Damage 2/4
    • Fighter Commentary - trade 1 attack for incresed average damage and longer reach. has an easier time securing the kill on an enemy while the Umbral Spear statically deals more damage.
